It is a 8-9 pH shampoo that should only be used during the procedure and is not a follow-up shampoo after the procedure. It removes the flake layer on the surface of the hair strands and allows the STEP2 cream to penetrate the flake layer.
USE= After thoroughly spreading the hazelnut-sized shampoo in your palm, gently massage it into your hair and wait for 5 minutes (do this twice and rinse, do not use cream)
